Day 1
ROME
On arrival in Rome you are met by our Tour Director and transferred to your hotel.
This afternoon enjoy a welcome drink with your Tour Director.
Day 2
ROME
After breakfast, our local guide takes you on a sightseeing tour through the extraordinary city of Rome.
You will start by visiting Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel. Then continue to the monumental St. Peter’s Square and Basilica.
Afterwards we will cross the River Tiber to visit the Coliseum and the Roman Forum. Afternoon at leisure.
Day 3
ROME – ASSISI – FLORENCE – 350KM
After breakfast, we leave from the delightful city of Rome in direction of Assisi where we will stop to explore the city and to visit the Basilica of St. Francis.
Assis is famous as the birthplace of St. Francis, a 12th century monk who founded the Franciscan order devoted to achieving an “abundance of the divine” through the practise of ascetism, poverty and chastity.
Then we continue to Florence. On arrival afternoon at leisure.
Day 4
FLORENCE
After breakfast, our local guide takes you on a walking tour through the unforgettable city of Florence.
You will visit the magnificent Cathedral, Giotto’s Bell tower, the Baptistery’s heavy bronze “Gate of paradise” and the sculpture-studded Signoria Square.
At the end of the visit don’t miss the Academy of Fine arts where you can admire Michelangelo’s celebrated David. Afternoon at leisure.
Day 5
FLORENCE – PISA – VENICE – 430KM
After breakfast, we will head to Venice via Pisa. This morning we focus on Pisa and the Leaning Tower.
Then we continue to Venice where you will have time to explore this wonderful city on your own.
Day 6
VENICE
After breakfast, our local guide will take you on a walking tour to St. Mark’s Square and the Byzantine Basilica, Doge’s Palace and the Bridge of Sighs.
Also watched skilled glassblowers fashion their delicate objects in an age-old traditional manner.
This afternoon why not join an optional cruise to Burano Island ?
Day 7
VENICE – PADUA – VERONA – MILAN – 290KM
After breakfast, we head to Padua for an orientation tour and to visit the world famous St. Antony’s Basilica. Then proceed to Verona.
This elegant city synonymous with Romeo and Juliet is built almost completely in the distinctive local pink marble. Stop and visit. Then we continue to Milan.
Day 8
MILAN – GENOVA – MONACO – NICE – 340KM
After breakfast, our local guide takes you on a sightseeing tour through this elegant city.
Visit to the Duomo, Scala Theatre, Sforza Castle and Last Supper painted by Leonardo Da Vinci. Then proceed to Monaco via Genova.
On arrival in Monaco, we will take you on an orientation drive through this charming Principality reigned by Prince Albert. Afterwards we head to Nice along the famous and delightful Côte d’Azur.
Day 9
NICE – CANNES – ARLES – NÎMES (PONT DU GARD) – AVIGNON – 330KM
After breakfast, we will take you on an orientation tour through Nice and we will head along the coast to the most famous resort in France, Cannes, home of the world famous Film Festival.
On arrival in Cannes we will make an orientation drive and then, we proceed to Arles. You will have time to explore this ancient Roman city and discover the well preserved Roman amphitheater. Afterwards we continue to Nîmes.
On arrival in Nîmes we take you on an orientation drive to see the most interesting places of this Roman city. We will see the Roman temple “La Maison Carrée” and the Roman Amphitheatre “Les Arènes”.
Afterwards we continue to admire a masterpiece of the Roman engineering, the aqueduct Le Pont du Gard with more than 2000 years old. We end our day in the City of the Popes, Avignon.
Day 10
AVIGNON – LYON – BEAUNE – 400KM
After breakfast, we take you on a sightseeing tour to Avignon and to visit the Pope’s Palace.
Then we continue to Lyon, the second most popular city in the country, famed for its shopping, gastronomy, silk industry and its very dynamic way of life. Time for an orientation drive.
Afterwards we proceed to Beaune.
Day 11
BEAUNE – PARIS – 310KM
After breakfast, we take you on an orientation tour through Beaune and we take you to visit a Wine cellar and wine taste. Afterwards we continue to Paris.
On arrival in Paris we will take you on orientation tour of this unique city of Paris !
Tonight, why not join an optional excursion to a cabaret Show and Paris by Night ?
Day 12
PARIS
After breakfast, our local guide takes you on a guided tour through the most important places of Paris like Eiffel Tower, Opera Garnier, Champs-Elysées, Arc de Triomphe, Latin Quarter and many other places.
This afternoon you should not miss the opportunity to visit Versailles and its extraordinary Palace, built by Louis XIV named the “Sun King”. The palace became the envy of every European ruler.
Tonight why not enjoy a Farewell Dinner on Seine River Cruise ?
Day 13
PARIS
After breakfast, a last opportunity to say “Au revoir” to Paris as we transfer to the Airport.
